About us
Although Johan started the company alone some years back he soon realised that the potential of any business is in its resources and hence the potential for growth was born. Johan’s main role is to impart vision, lead by example and ensure that TWS’s clients receive the value of service that they deserve, every step of the way. Johan’s talent lies more in conceptual and design development and he therefore relies heavily on the team to bring their talents to bear on further stages of our holistic service.
Eva Bali, who graduated from the University of Aachen in Germany, joined the practice in 2001; she brings a wealth of talent, depth of experience and a feminine touch to the practice. Eva performs a role of design development and implementation of project planning.
Mark Tieplet, a graduate of Stellenbosch University in 1985 where he attained his degree in Civil Engineering, partnered up with Johan and Eva in 2006, and adds to the practice and group an enthusiasm for the built form and ably performs the role of project administration during the construction phase of our projects.
Business Mentality
Our work environment is developed on the principles of sound Leadership. We integrate our staff into the process of striving for excellence and do so with structured and rewarded incentives.
We more commonly operate as the principle agent to the client and therefore represent, with the assistance of the other professionals (Quantity Surveyor, Engineers, and Planners) the front that serves to protect the Clients interests at all times. Over the years we have noticed that a Client may be vulnerable in a building project if he does not employ, directly, his professional advises to act in his best interests.
Our philosophy:
We operate with exceptional honesty, openness and integrity and hence are deliberate to select like-minded individuals and parties to work with. Time has taught us that trust, loyalty and respect within our working relationships enhances fluency and momentum and with these principles intact we are able to suitably represent our service and ourselves.
Policy:
We strongly believe that all conflicts and misunderstandings is simply a factor of the lack of or inadequate communication and we therefore have a policy of open channel communication, at all times.
