Strategically aligned with 2BG, TWS have set out to explore and stretch the boundaries of design and building for the sustainable environment. We have set ourselves on a path of discovery and ever expanding thinking and knowledge of Earth conscious design and building with an understanding that moving toward a more sustainable built environment will be a collective effort between the patron, the designer, the builder and the supplier.
Our designs are at one with nature, with the immediate environment and at once live in nature and make nature visible. We believe that excellent design grows from place, from the elements which shape the site/the context.
TWS is committed to practical research on a project-by-project basis to ensure design solutions which are cutting edge, redefining boundaries for the built environment which support human sustainability on our precious and endangered planet.
Our focus is on creativity as well as sound design principles which enhance the living environment of the inhabitant. e.g. we would explore “ passive design” devices, aim to minimize the energy requirements of the structure and enhance the living quality at the same time.
