Scope

KwaNzira- Urban Farming projects is founded in response to the demand of people at the household level and small scale farms to develop sustainable livelihoods. KwaNzira is an African word meaning “the home of sustainable living”.  KwaNzira’s mission is to improve the lives of households and communities in Southern Africa by facilitating the establishment of sustainable and self-managed agricultural systems. KwaNzira embraces Permaculture as a land-use-design system and a culture of building self-sufficient human settlements. We provide quality training in Permaculture, entrepreneurial skills development, farm planning and designing towards efficient food security.

KwaNzira is actively searching for companies, organisations and institutions that believe that they can align with its key ethics and values. We are keen to partner with businesses and organizations that are striving to develop new ideas and strategies for Africa’s growth and development. Sponsorship or consultancy aligned with this cause will assist in the designing and creation of food security nodes in Southern Africa
